Each year, I take a look back to see if I reached the goals that I set for that year. I’m sure you probably do the same thing. 2017 is almost over and I’m doing the same thing again this year, looking in the rear view mirror to see what ground I’ve covered on the way to my destiny.
I believe that each of us has a purpose, something we were created to do. I’ve written and spoken on the topic for a long time now. Through the years, I’ve found that the challenge for most people is staying on track with their goals. For the past four years, I’ve had a goal that I pushed forward to the next year because I could not get the goal accomplished that year. This year, 2016, I accomplished that goal!!! Yay!!! It has been worth the time and the investment!
Dr. Teresita Glasgow is an Author, Speaker, and Certified Leadership Coach. Dr. Teresita has a wide range of professional experience which includes both the private and public sectors. She is best known for spending seventeen years navigating through the ranks of the male-dominated financial services industry within the corporate trust industry. Dr. Teresita successfully went from a single parent on welfare to a Wall Street career as a Vice president, Relationship Manager, and Certified Corporate Trust Specialist. Throughout her career, she has closed multiple, multimillion-dollar bond deals and has managed substantial corporate trust bond portfolios in a fiduciary capacity.
Now, Dr. Teresita uses her voice to help others through her writing, speaking, and training. She is the President/CEO of In His Season, Inc. a Christian Training & Development Company and the Founder of Destiny Dreamer Coaching. Dr. Teresita has served in various leadership roles including Toastmasters International, Wachovia Bank Capital Markets Diversity Counsel and currently, serves as a Deacon in her church. She is a member of NAPW (National Association of Professional Women), Toastmasters International, WEN (Women’s Empowerment Network), and Women’s Speakers Association. Dr. Teresita received an Honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree from Trinity International University of Ambassadors and is a recipient of the President’s (Barack Obama) Lifetime Achievement Award for Volunteer Service.
